The solutions to the above reasons are:

  1. Problems with manual inspection

 

Since the bearings are generally located inside the equipment, the daily inspection in the production process cannot know whether the bearings are operating normally, nor can they detect the temperature rise of the bearings of the equipment. Unless there is a fault such as abnormal noise and peculiar smell in the rotating part of the equipment, it may be found by the inspectors, but at this time, the equipment needs to be maintained, which will definitely have a certain impact on the normal production and operation. If each piece of equipment is inspected through maintenance and troubleshooting, it will consume a lot of manpower and material resources, and it may not be possible to accurately find and eliminate problems.

 

  1. The problem of manual grease filling

 

At present, domestic flour enterprises mainly use manual lubricating grease for the lubrication of bearings of high square screens, bran machines, mills, roots fans and other equipment. This method mainly has the following disadvantages[2]:(1) manual single fuel injection is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and fuel-consuming; (2) The refueling time is relatively arbitrary, the refueling time is not easy to control, and the time interval is long or frequent; (3) The amount of refueling is not easy to control, sometimes it is too much, and sometimes it is insufficient; (4) The grease nozzle is often damaged and needs to be replaced.

4.1 Advantages of bearing temperature measurement and intelligent lubrication

 

The use of bearing temperature measurement and intelligent lubrication has the following advantages: (1) The temperature rise of the bearing can be monitored online through the temperature sensor, and it can be found in time when the bearing temperature changes abnormally or when the temperature limit is reached, and the corresponding inspection or lubrication can be carried out in a targeted manner; (2) Intelligent automatic lubricating grease filling, which can reduce the labor intensity of personnel and improve production efficiency; It can accurately quantify oil injection to ensure that each lubrication point gets enough lubricating oil; It can prevent the filling of different qualities of grease and ensure that the grease is filled correctly.

4.2 Bearing temperature detection

 

Drill holes according to the thread size at the appropriate position of the corresponding bearing housing of the equipment, twist the corresponding internal threads, and install the temperature sensor firmly [3]. As shown in Figure 1, the end face of the sensor is in contact with the outer ring of the bearing, and the lead wire is connected to the junction box to prevent it from falling off when the machine is turned on. Similar to the rotating equipment of the high square screen and the inspection screen, a temperature sensor can be installed at the upper and lower bearing seats of the rotating shaft. The temperature information collected by the temperature sensor in real time is collected and summarized through the relay box, and then transmitted to the PLC of the central control of the workshop, and the information is compiled by the PLC and displayed on the central control operating system in real time.

 

 

 

4.3 Intelligent lubrication

 

Intelligent lubrication consists of a PLC control system, a volumetric flow meter, a pressure sensor, a high-pressure lubrication pump, a refueling tank, a filter, an oil separator, an electromagnetic lubricator, and pipeline accessories [4]. As shown in Figure 2, the oil circuit mainly adopts an electromagnetic lubricator to control the point-by-point oil supply mode of a lubrication point, and the oil supply of each point is controlled by the flow value fed back by the flowmeter, and can be divided into manual filling mode and automatic filling mode according to actual needs.


4.4 Control Principle

 

When the temperature rise of the rotating bearing of key equipment is obvious or exceeds the set rising value, the central control operating system will display the corresponding alarm information to remind the management personnel to deal with it in time. The relevant management personnel of the workshop can preliminarily determine whether the equipment is a hardware failure or a lack of grease in the bearing by observing the temperature rise history report of the equipment combined with the actual on-site inspection, so as to carry out the corresponding maintenance and lubrication work in the next step.

When it is confirmed that lubrication work is required, the management personnel can set the corresponding refueling volume and refueling cycle for single or multiple devices in the central control PLC operating system, and then control the corresponding electromagnetic lubricator to fill the corresponding equipment with grease through the PLC [5].

The traditional wheat processing industry has problems such as high cost, low efficiency, waste of manpower and material resources for the lubrication and maintenance of rotating bearings of key equipment, which seriously restricts the production capacity of wheat processing enterprises, and how to ensure the safe operation of key equipment and smooth operation of production has become a key difficulty for enterprises to consider and solve.
